Export and Import form
Use these steps to move a form’s configuration between shops or back up/restore a form.
Export a form
Go to App admin > Forms → click a form → Settings.
Click the secondary action “Export the form”.
A file like your-form-slug-form-export-YYYY-MM-DD.json will download.
Import a form
Go to Forms.
Click New → Import form.
Select the exported .json file and click Import.
On success, you’ll see a confirmation and the Forms list will refresh. Errors will be shown in the modal.
Notes and limitations
Import will validate the file and either create/update the form or show an error.
If the target shop doesn’t have matching integrations (e.g., missing Klaviyo/Mailchimp setup), import may succeed with warnings or fail; set up integrations first and retry.
Export files are JSON text and generally small; keep them safe if they contain business-sensitive configuration.
Troubleshooting
“Authorization” errors: refresh and try again (your session may have expired).
“Invalid file” errors: ensure you selected a .json file generated by this app’s Export feature.
Integration errors: configure required integrations in App Settings and retry.
If issues persist, contact support with the exact error message.
